Mucky Paws FAQ
Here you will find the most common questions asked about our services, if you have any other questions please get in touch and i will get right back to you!
Q1) Are you insured whilst looking after dogs?
Yes we are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance and we have been Police checked so that you know your pets are in safe reliable hands here at Mucky Paws!
Q2) I work really long hours and i am unable to attend to my dog during the day! What time can you walk my dog and how much is it?
A2) Its totally up to what time you want your dog is walked, but book in advance to make sure you get the time slot you require. We can walk your dog once a day or twice if you require it with a special discount for having 2 walks a day! It's £8.75 for a walk that will last between 45mins and an hour. If you require a shorter walk please do not hesitate to ask and I'm sure we can come to a suitable arrangement.
Q3) How do i collect my house keys and where are they stored?
A3) At our initial free consultation I will collect a spare set of house keys from you if you wish, which will require you to sign a consent form stating you have handed them over to me. I will then keep them securely locked away in a key safe with no identification of yours on it and will be recognised by code only. We will be just a telephone call away in case of an emergency, if you lose your keys, or lock yourself out. If you are unpredictably called away on business, late getting home with traffic then we can help you out by walking your dog for you. If you wish to have your keys returned just let us know.
Q4) How many times do you visit when pet sitting?
A4) We will visit your home as many times as you require us to.
Q5) I dont like leaving my pets whilst i am away. Is there any way of you letting me know how they are?
A5) Yes of course! We offer a texting service where we will text you as many times as you like whilst your away letting you know how your pets are getting on.
Q6) I have a small number of animals that will need looking after, will that be £6.00 each per animal?
A6) No it won't, we understand that people have many different animals and charging £6 each would cost a fortune! A visit covers one pet at £6.00 then an additional £1.00 per pet.
